Everton's Monday evening Premier League clash with Tottenham paused in the 26th minute as Muslim players were allowed to break their Ramadan fast.

Everton trio Andre Onana, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and Idrissa Gueye all took a moment to consume food, drink, and energy gels at the side of the pitch.

Islamic believers aren't allowed to consume food or drink between sunrise and sunset during the month of Ramadan.

The Premier League has made the decision to allow evening matches to be temporaily halted to allow players to take food and drink onboard.
