Everton's Abdoulaye Doucoure is sent off for HITTING Harry Kane in the face in a moment of madness at Goodison Park as the Tottenham captain makes the most of it by throwing himself to the floor

Abdoulaye Doucoure was sent off in Everton's Monday evening encounter with Tottenham after thrusting his hand into the face of Harry Kane.

The Toffees midfielder was shown a straight red card for striking Kane in the face as the Spurs captain theatrically hit the Goodison Park turf.

The incident occurred just over 10 minutes into the second-half with the scoreline level as Everton attempted to secure a victory that would see them climb out of the Premier League relegation zone.

Players raced to the scene in-front of the dugout as chaos ensured while Everton manager Sean Dyche held onto Doucoure and tried to downplay his midfielder's hot-headed moment.
