Everton won at Liverpool for the first time since 1999 as goals from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson lifted the Toffees level with Jurgen Klopp's side in the Premier League table.

Richarlison gave Carlo Ancelotti's side the perfect start with a smart finish after three minutes but the Toffees had to wait until the 83rd minute to grab their second.

Substitute Dominic Calvert-Lewin was brought down by Trent Alexander-Arnold to win a penalty which Sigurdsson converted to inflict a fourth straight Anfield defeat for Liverpool for the first time since 1923.
