Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is a target for French side Nice but they have yet to firm up their interest with an offer.
The 30-year old joined from Manchester United in a £24million deal three years ago but has failed to convince.
The Goodison Park club have been open to offers for the Frenchman for the past three windows but most enquiries have involved loans or offers below their valuation.
They may accept a loss this summer with Nice understood to be willing to offer around £7m.
