Those sentiments can be extended to the football pitch, too. Jurgen Klopp has only overseen one Merseyside derby so far, and, back in April, it turned out to be one of the most one-sided in living memory, as Liverpool won 4-0 without being extended in any way.

Klopp is about to discover, though, that there is a different side to Everton. This is the first time he has set foot inside Goodison Park but he can forget about receiving a warm welcome.
