Everton to offer Arsenal forward Theo Walcott a fresh start in January as Sam Allardyce looks to beat Arsene Wenger to Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi

Everton are ready to offer Theo Walcott a chance to revive his World Cup dream with a move to Goodison Park in January.

Sam Allardyce has enquired about the out of favour forward, who captained Arsenal to victory in the Carabao Cup against West Ham on Tuesday night.

Walcott is yet to start a Premier League game this season and has 18 months left on a contract worth £140,000 a week.

Earlier this month, Arsene Wenger claimed he was unwilling to sell the pacey 28-year-old, although that could change if Walcott pushes for a fresh start.
