Everton striker Richarlison claims Liverpool's Thiago Alcantara IGNORED his apology for his wild red-card tackle in fiery Merseyside derby clash at Goodison Park that left the midfielder out injured for over two months

Richarlison has claimed Thiago Alcantara ignored his apology for the gruesome tackle that left the Spain midfielder sidelined for more than two months.

The Everton forward was sent off for the wild lunge in the 90th minute on Thiago and while the midfielder went on to finish the match on October 17, he didn't play again until December 30.

Richarlison publicly apologised to the Liverpool man but has since revealed that it fell on deaf ears, adding that Thiago ignored him in the reverse fixture at Anfield in February that Everton won 2-0, with the Brazilian scoring the first.
