Everton Sign Calvert-Lewin

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will link up with David Unsworth’s Under-23s having agreed a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Sheffield United.

Calvert-Lewin came through the ranks at his hometown club, making his senior debut in a 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient in April 2015, aged just 18.

In August 2015 he joined Northampton Town on loan, scoring eight goals in 26 appearances for The Cobblers in League Two, and made two senior outings for the Blades this season before arriving at Goodison.

“He’ll be a great acquisition to our very talented Under-23 group and I think he has the opportunity here now to kick on and play at the very highest level,” Unsworth said.
