Everton manager Ronald Koeman has said he is trying to secure midfielder Ross Barkley on a long-term deal and confirmed that the club are still waiting for striker Romelu Lukaku to sign his new contract.
Lukaku has been on the verge of agreeing a new deal, set to make him the highest-paid player in the club's history, since December.
However, despite agent Mino Raiola saying last week that the deal was "99.99999999" per cent done, Everton have yet to confirm it.
But Everton are also looking to secure the future of academy graduate Barkley, who is approaching the final 12 months of his deal.
