Everton manager Ronald Koeman strengthens club's ties in the community as he opens Cruyff Court

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has officially opened Cruyff Court, a community facility operated by Everton in the Community to provide children in the local neighbourhood with a safe place to play sports.

Koeman was interviewed by a Catalan newspaper last week in which he reiterated his dream to one day manage former club Barcelona, but the Dutchman has since underlined his commitment to his current contract on Merseyside.

The Dutchman still has two years remaining on his current deal after this season, and having reaffirmed his belief in the project under majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, Koeman was happy to fulfil one of his other duties.
