Everton boss Ronald Koeman has moved to clarify his role over player transfers at the club, admitting he does not have the final say over who the Toffees sign.
Everton brought in Steve Walsh from Leicester as director of football in July after the scout enjoyed success signing key players Riyad Mahrez, N'Golo Kante and Jamie Vardy during his spell with the Premier League champions.
And Koeman has revealed that while he has an input over Everton's signings, Walsh also plays a significant role in transfers at Goodison Park.

'Full control, no, I cannot control all the players I want,' Koeman said via The Mirror.
