Ronald Koeman has confirmed he wants to bring ‘interesting player’ Memphis Depay to Everton, despite his inability to break into the Manchester United team.
Signed in the summer of 2015, Depay arrived at Old Trafford as one of the most highly rated youngsters in European football.
He had netted 22 goals in 30 games for Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven in the 2014/15 season, signing for the Red Devils for a reported £25 million fee - and taking the historic number seven shirt.
The winger started that campaign well, scoring twice and creating one goal in a Europa League qualifier against Club Brugge, but his form left him as the season wore on, and he managed only 16 league starts.
