Everton face competition from Bayer Leverkusen and Napoli to sign former Chelsea winger Jeremie Boga as Sassuolo hold out for £35m

Everton could face competition from Italian and German clubs in their bid to sign former Chelsea winger Jeremie Boga this summer.

Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti has added the Serie A winger to the club's shortlist of transfer targets after an impressive season at Sassuolo.

Though Everton now face competition from Napoli and Bayer Leverkusen, who have now entered the race for the Ivory Coast international.

The 23-year-old has impressed during his two seasons at the club since he joined from Chelsea in a £3.5million deal in 2018.

This season Boga played a starring role in Sassuolo’s campaign, scoring 11 goals in 34 league appearances.
