Everton eye double swoop on deadline day as they and Southampton have £22m bids accepted for Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana, while Toffees also open talks with free agent Andre Ayew

Everton and Southampton have had £22million bids accepted for Rennes' Kamaldeen Sulemana, with the Toffees also in negotations to sign Andre Ayew on a free transfer.

New Toffees boss Sean Dyche is keen to rectify the relegation-threatened club's struggles in front of goal by adding a forward in January and the club is in talks with 33-year-old forward Ayew after he cancelled his contract with Qatari club Al Sadd.

The Premier League side face a race against time to get the experienced striker registered before the transfer window closes on Tuesday, while Ayew's Ghana team-mate Sulemana is set to decide between Everton and Southampton on Tuesday.
