Everton boss Frank Lampard is set to hear if he will be sacked on Sunday, as owner Farhad Moshiri begins the search for his replacement after bizarrely claiming it was 'not his decision'

Frank Lampard is set to learn his fate today, with Everton ready to end his 357-day reign as manager.

The 44-year-old is aware a run of 11 defeats in 14 games, stretching back to October, is unsustainable and he met Farhad Moshiri, the club’s owner, following the 2-0 defeat at West Ham on Saturday.

Everton are in danger of suffering their first relegation since 1951 and, with games coming up against Arsenal and Liverpool, it is imperative the club acts quickly to find a solution. It is understood Sean Dyche, the former Burnley manager, is not among those being considered for the job.
