Everton are in talks with Jordan Pickford over signing a new contract to keep the goalkeeper in Merseyside for the foreseeable future.
The Sunderland academy graduate has been virtually ever present at Goodison Park since joining from his local club for £25million in 2017, still the highest fee ever paid for a British goalkeeper.
Pickford demonstrated his value for Everton last season, producing several key saves as the club experienced one of the most difficult Premier League campaigns in their history, narrowly missing out on relegation.

Jordan Pickford has been the undisputed No 1 at Everton since joining the club in 2017

The England number one made 37 appearances across all competitions last season, and with just two years remaining on his current deal, Toffees manager Frank Lampard is keen to secure Pickford's long-term future at the club.
