Everton are handed a boost as Frank Lampard confirms Dominic Calvert-Lewin is back in contention for their trip to Man City after picking up a hamstring injury in November - as he looks to re-ignite his season

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is back in contention for Saturday's tough Premier League trip to champions Manchester City.

The England international missed the Boxing Day defeat by Wolves due to a lack of match fitness after struggling with a number of injury issues this season.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, manager Frank Lampard said: 'He is in the squad.'

Asked if he might be ready to start, Lampard added: 'We'll see.'

Calvert-Lewin has made just six appearances this season and Everton, who are only one point above the bottom three, have struggled without him in front of goal.
