England U20 2-1 Costa Rica U20: Everton's Ademola Lookman scores twice as Young Lions book World Cup quarter-final place

Everton's Ademola Lookman scored twice as England beat Costa Rica to reach the quarter-finals of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in South Korea on Wednesday afternoon.

The 19-year-old forward struck either side of half-time in Jeonju as the Young Lions set up a last eight meeting with either Senegal or Mexico.

But they were forced to endure a slightly nervous finale after Randall Leal converted on the rebound after seeing his 89th-minute penalty saved by goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.
