Deulofeu Starts Against City

Ronald Koeman has made one change to the side that drew with Crystal Palace as Gerard Deulofeu starts in place of Ross Barkley for the trip to Manchester City.

The 22-year-old Spaniard makes his first Premier League start since the 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion in August, while Barkley is named among the substitutes.

Deulofeu is expected to occupy the right flank with Bolasie operating on the left and Romelu Lukaku, who scored for the Blues at the Etihad two seasons ago, spearheading the attack.

Tom Cleverley retains his place in the starting line-up and will be joined in midfield by Gareth Barry and Idrissa Gana Gueye.
