Gerard Deulofeu became Spain Under-21s' leading all-time leading goalscorer when he netted against Austria on Friday evening.
The Blues winger scored on the stroke half-time from the penalty spot to put his side 1-0 up in the European Under-21 Championships finals play-off.
The Blues midfielder was brought down by Christian Schoissengeyr in the Austrian penalty area and the referee pointed straight to the spot.
Captain Deulofeu took responsibility to dust himself off and convert the spot-kick, making him the country's leading scorer at Under-21 level with 16 goals.
Deulofeu also became the joint-leader in terms of number of appearances for La Rojita – equalling Iker Muniain's record of 31.
