Everton midfielder Tom Davies has spoken of Sam Allardyce’s positive impact on his performances and says the Blues boss is deploying him in the position where he feels he thrives the most.
After initially being named on the bench when Allardyce took over at the start of December, the 19-year-old soon forced himself into the starting XI, with the Toffees manager talking of how impressed he had been by the Academy graduate's quality, application and energy in training.
Davies impressed in Everton’s recent home victories over Leicester City and Crystal Palace, finding the net in the 3-1 win over Roy Hodgson’s men on 10 February.
