Cristiano Ronaldo APOLOGISES for his 'outburst' after Man United's defeat following claims he SMASHED an Everton fan's phone in the Goodison Park tunnel... before inviting affected supporter to Old Trafford as a sign of 'fair-play and sportsmanship'

Cristiano Ronaldo has apologised for his angry 'outburst' in the Goodison Park tunnel after Manchester United's defeat which saw him accused of knocking a fan's phone out of their hand.

United are looking into an incident involving the Portuguese forward which came in the aftermath of the club's 1-0 defeat by Everton. Ronaldo was furious after the Red Devils' defeat by Frank Lampard's side on Saturday afternoon before appearing to take his anger out on a fan's phone as he walked down the tunnel at Goodison Park.

Ronaldo has since taken to social media to apologise for the incident and has invited the affected supporter to come and watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of good will.
