Everton Chairman Bill Kenwright is promising the Club will leave a “great, great legacy” when they relocate from Goodison Park to a proposed new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
Mr Kenwright credited Chief Executive, Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale’s vision in regenerating the area surrounding the Club’s 126-year-old home.
Everton’s official charity, Everton in the Community [EitC], officially opened The Blue Base – a function centre for vulnerable and disabled fans – in September last year, expanding a footprint which already included Everton Free School, The People’s Hub and five houses on Goodison Road, which house EitC’s discreet programmes.
