Everton will become the first English club to reach 4500 top-flight games when they travel to the Amex Stadium on Saturday.
It was back on the opening day of the 1888-89 campaign that the Blues began that run, with George Fleming notching the Club’s first ever league goals in a 2-1 win over Accrington at Anfield.
Yerry Mina made it top-flight goal number 7000 when he nodded home after just two minutes of the 5-1 win over Burnley on Boxing Day.
That result was Everton’s largest away league win since a 5-1 success at Sheffield Wednesday back in September 1985.
