Brenford are keen on Nottingham Forest starlet Brennan Johnson but will have to pay £14m to prise him from the City Ground with Everton and West Ham also chasing the midfielder

Brentford will need to pay around £14million to prise Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest.

The Bees had a £6m offer rejected in the summer and have made fresh enquiries, with Everton, Newcastle and West Ham also among the team keeping an eye on the young midfielder.

Forest would like to keep Johnson, 20, for their play-off push this season, but a sizeable bid from one of the Premier League club could convince them to let their academy graduate go.
