BREAKING NEWS: Sean Dyche expected to be Everton's new manager after positive, fast-moving talks over replacing Frank Lampard, as Marcelo Bielsa says NO despite flying in from Brazil to discuss it

Everton have held positive talks with Sean Dyche after their attempts to persuade Marcelo Bielsa to take the role proved difficult.

Former Burnley boss Dyche is now expected to become Everton manager, replacing Frank Lampard at Goodison Park.

Bielsa was the preferred candidate to take the vacancy - Sportsmail revealed on Thursday the Argentine flew into London for talks with the club.

Frank Lampard was sacked by Everton on Monday after a poor run of 11 losses in 14 games
