MMA fighter and fervent Evertonian Molly McCann was a guest a Finch Farm on Wednesday.
Known as ‘Meatball’ after her coach handed her the moniker because she would train after shifts at Subway, she fights for the fifth time when she takes on American Anjela Pink at the Liverpool Olimpia.
While she is based primarily in Bournemouth, McCann has been up in Liverpool undertaking final preparations ahead of her bout, and visited the Blues’ training complex to meet several first-team stars.
Presented with a suitably-printed ‘Meatball’ shirt, she swapped fighting tips with Romelu Lukaku and Gerard Deulofeu and caught up with Duncan Ferguson before speaking to evertontv.
