Blackpool 3-3 Everton: Carlo Ancelotti's side go three goals down inside 11 minutes but Gylfi Sigurdsson scores twice to salvage pre-season draw against League One opposition

Gylfi Sigurdsson scored twice as Everton kicked off their pre-season campaign with a 3-3 draw against League One Blackpool.

The Toffees went three goals down inside 11 minutes at Bloomfield Road, with CJ Hamilton, Sullay Kaikai and Grant Ward all finding a way past Jordan Pickford.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin headed in from a corner before Sigurdsson netted from the penalty spot, and the midfielder netted his second by curling a free-kick into the top corner from the edge of the area on 72 minutes.
