The Under-23s' fundraising campaign has kicked off 2017 with a bang with the news that Everton hero Duncan Ferguson has donated £12,000 to their efforts.
The first-team coach and his testimonial committee have pledged their support to the ‘Home Is Where The Heart Is’ campaign which was revealed towards the end of 2016 by David Unsworth and his squad.
The fundraising campaign was launched with the aim to support young people on the brink of homelessness across the city of Liverpool and the mission will see Unsworth, his backroom staff and the full Under-23 squad work throughout the rest of the season to fund and develop a supported living initiative for young people, delivered by the Blue’s official charity, Everton in the Community.
