A Bosnian football fan who became an Evertonian after writing to all 92 league clubs in England asking why he should support them has met Blues midfielder and compatriot Muhamed Besic at the Club’s Finch Farm training ground.
Aldin Karabeg’s name went viral earlier this year when he approached all the teams from the Premier League down to League Two and received only 10 responses.
One of those was from Everton, who informed Aldin of the Club’s rich history and revered record of achieving a number of notable firsts in the game.
Having heard news of Aldin’s quest, Besic then recorded a message for the 19-year-old, encouraging him to become a Blue and telling him he would one day love to see him attend a game at Goodison Park.
