EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Evansville senior forward Emily Ormson netted UE's first goal of the season in the 81st minute on Sunday to help the Purple Aces pick up their first point of the year with a 1-1 tie with visiting Austin Peay at Arad McCutchan Stadium in Evansville.
Ormson was on the other end of a beautiful cross from sophomore midfielder Ryleigh Anslinger to head in a ball from the top of the six-yard box to give UE a 1-0 lead. Austin Peay's Anna McPhie would counter four minutes later with an equalizer from just outside of the six-yard box to the lower-right corner to knot the match at 1-1.
