Box Score INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Facing its first top 25 ranked opponent of the season, the University of Evansville women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 20/22 Butler on the road in Indianapolis, Ind. on Thursday evening.
"Credit goes to Butler. They are a very good team," said Aces' women's soccer head coach Krista McKendree. "I thought we played much better in the second half once we changed formations up until the last 10 minutes. We have to move forward and recover quickly so we can prepare for Sunday's game."
In the opening 15 minutes of the match, the Bulldogs found their opening goal as Katie Soderstrom kicked a free kick that Halle Stelbasky clipped int the back of the net in the 15th minute to push Butler in front.
