EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville track and field team will kick off its 2022 outdoor season this weekend, as the Purple Aces will travel to Murray, Kentucky to take part in the Margaret Simmons Invitational hosted by Murray State University. The two-day meet will begin Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with field events, while running events will start at 5 p.m. on Friday night.
Evansville has not competed since taking part in the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships on February 27-28. UE set five school records and over 20 personal-best marks at the Valley Indoor Championships.
