EVANSVILLE, Ind. – After a week off from competition, the University of Evansville track and field program will return to action this weekend beginning on Thursday, as the Purple Aces will take part in the Gibson Invitational hosted by Indiana State University in Terre Haute.
The three-day meet will begin with the first half of the multi-event competitions on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. central time. It will continue on Friday with the conclusion of the multi-events, along with both the javelin and hammer throw competitions, as well as the 5,000-meter event for both genders.
