EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Evansville freshman Marah Wood had a doubleheader for the ages, going a perfect 6-6 with a grand slam, eight RBI, four runs scored and a 1.000 on-base percentage to lead the Purple Aces to a doubleheader sweep over Purdue Fort Wayne in Saturday's home opener at Cooper Stadium.
