Short-handed Aces fall in weekend finale at SIU

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Without two of its top scorers and rebounders, the University of Evansville women's basketball team dropped a road matchup with Southern Illinois. 105-59, to close its regular season road slate on Saturday afternoon in Carbondale, Ill.

Still missing leading scorer Abby Feit, who was out for the weekend with an injury, Evansville found itself even more short-handed just one minute into the game, when redshirt junior center Barbora Tomancova exited due to an injury. Fifth-year guard Myia Clark led the Aces offensively on the day, finishing with 15 points, while freshman guard Kynidi Mason Striverson came within one point of tying her career high with 13 off the bench.
