EVANSVILLE - A pair of second half goals and a strong defensive effort late helped lead the University of Evansville women's soccer team to a 2-1 win over Morehead State on Sunday afternoon at Arad McCutchan Stadium in Evansville.
Fifth-year forward Emily Ormson scored her second goal of the young season in the match, while senior forward Sophia Rodil registered just the second goal of her career and her first since Oct. 16, 2019. In goal, sophomore Sophie Lindner earned her first collegiate appearance in goal, making one save and recording the win in 90 minutes between the posts.
