TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - In a battle of home runs, the University of Evansville baseball team's offense was overpowering, securing a series victory with a 12-9 win over Indiana State on Sunday afternoon in Terre Haute.
"I knew it was going to be an offensive game today with the wind blowing out, but Shane Harris was able to come out of the pen and get the important outs," said Aces head baseball coach Wes Carroll. "We had big hits up and down the lineup especially when we recaptured the lead in the seventh. Proud of this team after getting walked off the field Friday night to earning the series win.
