ST. LOUIS, Mo. - After a strong season on the field, University of Evansville baseball senior Nate Reeder was honored for his academic and athletic achievement, receiving Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete honorable mention recognition, it was announced in a release by the conference office on Tuesday.
Reeder concluded his senior campaign as the top batter for the Aces, hitting .309, 10 doubles, five home runs, and 37 RBI, while holding a 3.60 GPA in math. The senior outfielder was one of 26 baseball student-athletes from the MVC who were honored, including 11 who earned honorable mention honors.
