EVANSVILLE - Making the trip east for a pair of matches, the University of Evansville men's soccer team challenges Incarnate Word and host Dayton in the Dayton Flyers Classic this weekend in Dayton, Ohio.
The Aces will open the Dayton Flyers Classic on Friday at 3 PM (CT) against Incarnate Word. Friday's matchup represents the first-ever meeting between the two sides. Incarnate Word enters the classic with an 0-2 record, falling to Campbell 3-0 and dropping its last contest to Furman, 1-0. The Cardinals bring back half of their goal-scoring duo from a season ago in Eduardo Perez, who scored five times and added a pair of assists in 2021.
