EVANSVILLE – A pair of first half goals proved too much to overcome for the University of Evansville men's soccer team on Tuesday night as the Purple Aces fell 2-1 to visiting Lipscomb at Arad McCutchan Stadium.
"It was a game of two halves," UE head coach Marshall Ray said. "We gave up another early goal, and you can't do that and rebound every game. As a group we have to do better than we did in the first half. The second half was better, and it's not like we changed the players. We had a little more energy.
