EVANSVILLE, Ind. – With the Tri-State area bracing for inclement weather on Wednesday afternoon, UE and USI's men's soccer programs have postponed the annual Mayor's Cup a week to Wednesday, April 20th at 6:30pm.
The match operates as a fundraiser for the Evansville YMCA's after-school program. In addition to the match and fundraiser, both programs run a soccer clinic for the after-school program on their respective campuses. On the day of the game, the after-school program participants come for a final clinic and are provided dinner before watching the match. Representatives from both universities will be in attendance, as well as Evansville's Mayor.
