EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Senior distance runner Anna Lowry will compete at the Jim Vargo Invitational for the University of Evansville track and field program.
Lowry will run the 10,000-meter race for the first time in her career at the meet hosted by Bellarmine. The highly decorated runner holds every school record for the Purple Aces in long distance events other than the 10K.
Lowry currently holds the fifth fastest 5,000-meter in the Missouri Valley at 16:49.09, set at the Bill Smith Challenge in March.
The 10K will begin at 6:45 p.m. CT on Friday, April 9.
