EVANSVILLE - For the second-straight season, the University of Evansville men's soccer team has landed a player on TopDrawerSoccer's Top 100 Freshmen list with midfielder Jose Vivas making the list for 2021.
Slotting in at #84, Vivas enjoyed an impressive debut with Evansville in 2021, becoming the second-straight Ace to be named Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year and the third in four seasons. Vivas played in 17 matches for the Aces in his first collegiate season, making 12 starts, and tying for the team-high with three assists. Vivas helped lead the Aces to a resurgent second half of the season, including a postseason run for the ages, making an appearance in the MVC Championship Final.
