ST. LOUIS - After a strong performance in goal, University of Evansville men's soccer goalkeeper Jacob Madden has been named Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced in a release from the Conference office on Tuesday.
In just his third match since returning between the posts, Madden put on an incredible performance in goal to earn the Aces a scoreless draw versus Loyola. Madden played all 110 minutes in goal for Evansville, making eight saves, and recording the first clean sheet of his UE career.
