EVANSVILLE, Ind. - University of Evansville men's soccer sophomore defender Ethan Garvey has been named to the preseason all-MVC team, it was announced in the Conference's preseason release on Tuesday morning.
Garvey earns preseason honors from The Valley after an impressive freshman campaign. In his first collegiate season, Garvey helped solidify Evansville's backline, seeing action in 13 games for the Aces and starting all but two matches. Garvey also got into the scoring column in his freshman season, scoring his first collegiate goal in Evansville's regular season finale at Bradley.
The Aces open their season on Saturday when Evansville travels to take on Lipscomb in Nashville, Tenn.
