EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Garnering conference recognition, the University of Evansville men's soccer team had four student-athletes honored with all-Missouri Valley Conference honors, it was announced at the championship awards banquet in Evansville, Ind. on Thursday night.
Freshman Mathias Nors was named freshman of the year and honorable mention all-MVC at the banquet. Nors is the first Ace to earn the freshman of the year award (formerly known as the newcomer of the year award) since Robby Lynch received the honor in 2007 and the fifth Evansville student-athlete to be named the top freshman in the league.
