COLUMBIA, Mo. - Back in the pool for the third day of competition, the University of Evansville women's swimming and diving team continued to impress at the 2019 MVC Championships in Columbia, Mo.
Evansville sits in seventh-place as a team with 179 points, just 3.5 points behind sixth-place Little Rock, while increasing its lead over eight-place Valparaiso.
Beginning the day with one of the best finishes of the meet, Kristen Myers earned a spot in the A final of the 100 yard butterfly. Myers swam to a fourth-place finish in a time of 55.41, just seven-hundredths of a second off the school record, earning 15 valuable points for the Aces.
