EVANSVILLE, Ind. - After an upset in the opening round, the University of Evansville women's soccer team travels to Chicago for a matchup with No. 2 seed Drake in the semifinals of the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Championship.
"For us, it's tournament time so everybody knows that anything can happen in the tournament," said Aces' women's soccer head coach Krista McKendree. "So for us, it's just about getting ourselves in that position in the tournament to put our best foot forward to try to go as far as we can."
The Purple Aces advanced to the semifinals with a 3-2 advantage in PKs over third-seeded UNI after playing a scoreless 110 minutes.
