Box Score EVANSVILLE, Ind. - On Senior Day, the University of Evansville women's soccer team battled back to tie the match before falling to Illinois State, 3-1, on two late goals on Sunday afternoon at Arad McCutchan Stadium.
Prior to kickoff, Evansville honored five seniors who have made an impact on the program as Molly Lear, Sara Osinski, Sierra Pagan, Montana Portenier, and senior athletic training student McKenzi Goebel were recognized for their contributions to the team and the university.
Early on in the match, Illinois State provided pressure in the attack, recording four shots with one on-goal in the first 12 minutes of the match.
